Look what we got in the mail!!

That's 22 cans of Luke's formula (Neocate) from our Insurance company. These 22 cans are our 1 month's supply. I'm not sure that Luke could drink this much in 3 months, but that's what they think he needs. At least it's too much and not too little!

The best part is they were FREE. If we would have had to pay for this it would have cost us $924.00!!!  (His formula is $42 a can). I am so beyond thankful that the insurance is covering this! Even if the insurance gave us problems for the rest of our lives I still don't think I would care. I calculated that if Luke took 8 cans a month for a total of 10 months (he's been on this since 2 months old) that would be a total cost of $3,360.00. And that's if he stays taking the same amount as he does now... which is not likely.

This made my whole WEEK!!

It seems to be working!!

Luke got switched to Nexium on Wednesday in addition to his Zantac. I really hope I don't jinx myself but... It seems to be working!! We are beyond excited! Last night Kris and I just kept saying "he's a normal baby." We had no crying, he was calm as anything. And he went to sleep on his own!! I put him down awake and he slept until 9:30am. We were giving Grace a bath last night and Luke laughed at her the whole time. It's one of the few times we caught a video and Luke was happy!! He's spitting up way less too (like he didn't wear a bib yesterday for the 1st time EVER)! Kris say he's going to gain a pound this week!
