Oh no! And it starts!!

This past week Grace has really started getting more mobile. Following me into the kitchen, getting into everything!! She isn't fully crawling but she's got a quick army crawl going on. Now today she started pulling herself up... On the couch, the coffee table anything. And she's a daredevil! It's her first day and she's already letting go with one hand and trying to walk. I think I'm in trouble over here!! Time to get an activity table for her to stand at!

So Grace had naked time last night...

And peed on her daddy's important tax papers! (at least we already filed but those were our copies of everything). I can't help but laugh and it wasn't like I wasn't watching her. I had a towel down and everything and she peed just off the towel. Kris wasn't home because went to a hockey playoff game (Sabres v Flyers... Sabres won!!). I think maybe she was mad at him because he wasn't home!

This was our first attempt at naked time because it's been really cold in our house and I didn't want her getting sick. I guess I need to perfect the art...

The Vtech baby learning laptop

It's probably one of Grace's favorite toys. The problem is she keeps closing the lid on her finger. She's done it a few times now and it really hurts her. She closes the lid down on one finger, then leans on it with the other hand pushing the screen onto her finger. She just did it now and her finger is all red and swollen.

Date night!!

We are finally going out again tonight! Kris and I try to go out once a month but March got away from us! My mom is watching Grace and Kris and I are going out to dinner! I can't wait to have some alone with him... 

Why is it that...

An empty sprite bottle is more entertaining than the $ worth of toys sitting right in front of my daughter? She has been playing with it for the last 30 minutes and is loving it! She has played with them before, I'm just confused as to why she would choose this over the bright and loud, fun toys sitting right in front of her! Silly, silly girl!! Babies are weird sometimes.

8 Months Old!

I can't believe my baby girl is 8 months old already! Time flies when you're having fun...

Whining...

Grace whines whenever she is tired and wants to sleep. So pretty much from 7pm - 9pm. It is constant and just a whine that drives you nuts. She just started this last week or so and I can't get her to stop. I've ignored her, told her "no," yelled/spoke sternly to her and tried diverting her attention.

Please say it isn't forever!!
