Will spring ever come?

Seriously I am so done with winter!! Isn't it supposed to be April on Friday? It's supposed to snow again tonight into Friday. I am so sick of the snow and cold. Today hit 50 (heat wave!!) and I refused to go for a walk because I didn't want to be teased again. 

Yelling and raspberries...

these are the two things that always get my girl to laugh/smile! She loves yelling for some reason! If I yell at the cat at all, she just laughs hysterically. If a movie has a scene on that has yelling, she stops everything to watch it and just laughs at it. If you tell her "NO" firmly, she just smiles at you because it is so funny!!

Raspberries are another thing. Always gets her to smile even when she's crying. She does them back too, which is the cutest thing ever!!

TV

I know TV is a hot topic sometimes, but Grace loves to watch it. I let her watch a little a day (maybe one show here and there). She certainly isn't in front of the TV all day, everyday!

Her favorite show is Ni Hao Kai-Lan. She loves it and so do I. It's educational as well as entertaining. Kris travels to China a few times a year for work and we have quite a bit of friends there now, so the Asia culture is important to us. We would like Grace to learn Mandarin some day. This show has such cute characters and cute voices. It's not annoying and has the right amount of singing to keep Grace entertained while she is playing.

Little weirdo

Lately when we change Grace, she giggles when we wipe her. Especially if she had a messy poopy and I really have to clean her out good. She literally laughs hysterically!

I've never read about it. Kris says it's probably just because it's a sensitive area. So... Is my Grace a weirdo or is she normal??

Grace's 1st time at the park

Just wanted to share Gracie's first time at the park on the swings! She loved it... 

Hard to believe today is 35 and now there's snow on the ground!  

My hobbies...

I'm bummed because I can't find a painting a did for Kris for his birthday a few years ago... we took it down to put up a picture of Grace at 6 weeks and I can't remember where I put it! Here are some others though.

So what do I blame this on...

Pregnancy brain or mommy brain? I was driving this weekend and suddenly remembered my drivers license expires soon. I look when I got home and it expire on 3/1/11! Oops! I totally forgot! And the best part is the DMV is only open on Thursdays so I can't go yet. I've been driving around with an expired license for over a week now. Oh well, what are you going to do?

Kris started his new job today...

And I've been a nervous wreck until right now when he called! He needs to commute an hour for this new job until we can sell both our houses and make the necessary move. Of course on his first day of work we get a freak snow storm out of nowhere and 6-8 inches of snow!

He traveled on all highways and ones that aren't well taken care of! Thank God he made it there even if he was late. Now I am really looking forward to moving so I don't have to worry about his commute. I also want to move because now he leaves us 2 hours earlier in the morning and will be getting home an hour to an hour and a half later!

I know it's an adjustment but I'm finding it hard today. I miss him and I can't even call him because he doesn't have an office yet (still doing orientation). 

7 Months Old!

My baby girl is 7 months old... seriously where did the time go? Crazy to think she's so close to her 1st birthday! This just seems so old to me.

Shoe size

I think Grace has super small feet! She is still wearing size NB shoes and still can't fit into size 1. She fit into the pair of shoes she was supposed to wear home from the hospital at 5 MONTHS!! I have all these cute shoes that she can't wear because her feet don't grow...

The ironic part is that when she was born she had monster feet and hands, and then it's like they never grew! I've added a picture to prove how huge her feet were when she was born and now they are so tiny...
